Dragon Age: Inquisition

After an epic 130 hour Rogue revisit to Dragon Age Inquisition I am left thirsty for more. If you've never experienced Dragon Age, Dragon Age 2 (my least favourite of the franchise) or Dragon Age: Inquisition, all 3 are definitely worthy of your time. All are currently available on Xbox Game Pass EA.

Possible Spoiler for those who've not played the Dragon Age Franchise.

Arriving late 2023 - Are you ready for the DREADWOLF?

Redfall - Official Gameplay Deep Dive Trailer

This looks promising. Available on Xbox Game Pass 02/05/2023

Gaming Spaces

As a Silver-Surfer Gamer (I'm so old. NOT) I consider myself lucky to be afforded the luxury of having a dedicated room in my home for gaming and all it's paraphernalia.

Always a work in progress!

The wall-art was gifted to me by my children. Bless them. Yes I am a Wolves and OUAT fan 😩

Hobbies, pastimes and passions are deeply personal, this is especially true with Gaming Spaces. There are no rights or wrongs when arranging and decorating YOUR gaming space, we all have different takes on what our ideal space should be. Whatever your age, it's not about competing with your peers, it's about YOU enjoying a comfortable relaxing space, whether that's a bean bag dragged before the TV in the lounge for a couple of hours, or a room that resembles the bridge of the Starship Enterprise, it's entirely up to you. Plus, it's fun investing time into your passion, accumulating, rearranging and saving for tech and paraphernalia that add zhush to your setup.

Enjoy!

The Last of Us

I'm a huge fan of the exclusive to PlayStation 'The Last of Us and Last of Us 2' (TLOU) video games, after all, TLOU is the reason why I invested in a PlayStation console, it's a MUST play, that said, I was wary of the hype TLOU had garnered over the production months as traditionally adapting a video game into a movie or TV show has been nothing short of, disappointing. Thankfully, The Last of Us breaks this tradition.

It's 20 years after modern civilisation has been destroyed, Joel is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14 year old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a simple smuggling operation soon becomes a brutal, unforgiving post-apocalyptic traverse of the U.S. where both must learn to trust and depend upon each other for survival.

Unlike it's counterparts of the same genre, TLOU runs at a much slower pace, the emphasis placed squarely upon the developing relationship between the perfectly cast Pedro Pascal, (Joel) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie) and the emotional impact of the unfolding journey upon them, not the infected. Some may believe this pace a tad slow and yearn for more infected action, (there is plenty of action) but this is where TLOU creates it's niche in the current oversaturated Post-Apocalyptic 'Zombie' genre.

Although I know how the journey for Joel, Ellie and all of the folks they encounter along their apocalyptic adventure pans out, I'm hooked and thirsty for more.

The Last of Us is on Sky Atlantic with new episodes every Monday.
